Metalsmithing, Artisan Jewelry

   I have long been fascinated with rocks and creating things.  Growing up in the midst of artists;     I considered my childhook skills in needlework and mixed media as that of an artisan or craftsperson secure with pattern in tow. Metalsmithing has opened up a whole new world for me and led to the realization that the secret of creative power is its spiritual activity. My handcrafted pieces are created using silver, bronze, copper & a myriad of unparalled crystals & gemstones. Silvered copper wire is crocheted or knit into as many different styles as my mind can bring into being. I invoke the style & heart of the Native American  genre to combine my love of feathers, the strength of metal, the mythical power of crystals & the feel of fiber.
